My coaching purpose

I believe we find one another for a reason. The people who find their way to my coaching practice are often searching for more meaning, connection, and joy in their lives.

I help people reconnect with their inner wisdom, rediscover what brings them meaning and joy, and find the courage to create a life that feels true to who they are.

Maybe you've been wondering about your life's purpose or dreaming about a different kind of life. Maybe you're on a spiritual or healing journey. Or perhaps you're starting over in your career or relationships and need some help figuring out what's next. Wherever you are on your path, I'm here to support you as you learn, grow, and discover more of who you are.

So often, we spend too much time in our heads, trying to think our way through life's challenges. What if, instead, you could turn inward, reconnect with your body, and find a sense of grounding? What if you could quiet the outside noise and begin to trust your own intuition?

Sometimes we just need a little help getting there. We hear so many messages about who we're supposed to be and what our lives should look like that it can be hard to hear our own inner voice.

I am trauma-informed (and self-practicing) coach that brings compassion, presence, practical tools, and sometimes spiritual guidance to our work together. But I believe the answers are already within you. My role is to hold a safe and supportive space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, explore what's possible, and find your own way forward.

FAQs

What is Trauma Informed Coaching?

I hold space for people as they explore what would bring greater purpose, meaning, and wholeheartedness to their lives. I help clients recognize the places where they feel stuck, the patterns and beliefs that may be getting in their way, and the possibilities that exist beyond them. Together, we explore two important questions: Where do you want to go? And what might be getting in your way?

My approach is trauma-informed, which means I recognize that our histories, experiences, and nervous systems influence how we move through the world. I strive to create a space that is compassionate, curious, and respectful of each person's experiences, pace, and capacity. I also believe this work begins with our own willingness to do the work of self-awareness and personal growth. I practice these principles in my own life, not just in my work with clients.

While I am mindful of how trauma can shape our beliefs, behaviors, and relationships, I am not a licensed therapist and do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions or complex trauma. I recognize the importance of knowing the boundaries of my training and expertise. When someone's needs extend beyond the scope of coaching, I encourage them to work with a licensed mental health professional. I believe coaching and therapy can be complementary parts of a person's growth and healing journey.

How do the sessions work?

Coaching sessions are one-hour in length via Zoom. I will start by asking about your goals for the session and for what you are trying to shift or change in your life. Based on your situation, I can use a variety of tools to help you gain clarity. Tools can include visioning, somatic work, examining thoughts and limiting beliefs, etc.

How many sessions do I need?

That depends on you, your area of focus, and how much support you feel that you need. Some people have a specific question they are exploring and only need one session. Others come for a series of sessions. Some see me on an on-going basis. Some come back when they feel like they need a “tune up”. I want to work with you in a time frame and pace that makes sense for you.

Will you solve my problem(s)?

My role is not to tell you what to do or provide quick fixes. You are the only one who knows what is the best path for you. I am someone who listens and most importantly, helps you listen to yourself. Within you is where the answers lie.

Can I can trust you?

Trust takes time to develop. Some of things that I do to try to build and maintain trust include getting to know you as a whole person, being transparent about my process and my blind spots, focusing on what matters most to you, and keeping our conversations confidential. I will do everything within my ability to honor the trust you place in me.

Do you coach teams?

Yes, as part of my consulting work I do coaching teams.
