Facilitation

People, Process, Progress, and Pace

A highly skilled facilitator will not just walk in to run your session, but they will be your partner from design through evaluation/follow-up. I am highly skilled at helping to clarify both product and process goals for your session. What do you do you want out of your session? What organizational culture or norms will aide you or block you? How will you get commitment to moving forward in new ways? What will success look like? Skills include:

  • Partnering on design

  • Managing the “4 P’s” (people, process, progress and pace) to keep the session moving and to surface issues that are creating blocks.

  • Identifying and surfacing group dynamics

  • Utilizing graphic facilitation techniques

Training

Solid Design +Participatory Learning

I have been offering training and teaching training design and facilitation for over 20 years. My work is values-based: I utilize a participatory learning structure which puts the learner at the center of the design and focuses on all learning styles. I create solid designs tied to outcomes, but I am a nimble enough to pivot content to meet the emerging needs of the students. Content specialties include:
